I started my journey with my college mates towards the state kerala which is also know as gods own countryTo make our tour a low budget one we plan to travel through coimbatore. from vellore we took train to coimbatore . we reached coimbatore at 9:00pm . their our mini bus was waiting for us to take us to gods own country .we reached munnar the hill station of kerala early in the morning. after sight seeing we went to our rooms.the next day we move towards the coastal region of kerala that is cochin .
In cochin the most beautiful scenery is the bridge which connects ernakkulam and cochi. we stayed in chota nikker town 40 km from cochin.
we first visited cochin harbor where we took a passenger boat to the dutch island, dolphin point ,ship making yard and etc . we had a 2to 3 hours journey .After the harbour we went to cherish beach which is 30 km from cochin.the first time i am wetting my body in Arabian sea.i felt pride of my self i dont know y it was like i have travel from corner to other corner of the world .but, the truth is i have just travel from east coastline of india to west coastline just 600km.
The next day we went to veegaland amusement park in cochin.we spent a whole day in that amusement park.
The next day we reached the highest waterfalls in south asia "Athirapalli falls"
but,its my bad fortune since it was a rainy season in south part of kerala the water flow in river was heavy .Tourist where not allowed to get in to the water.but, another surprise was waiting for us "veattaikaran " shooting was going on near the falls place. i am not craze about the actor "vijay" .but, seeing a film star in reality is different. at last i reached coimbatore at night 3:oo pm .
from their i took a Volvo bus to chennai.
